Critiquing Curriculum Materials

All of the curriculum materials selected for this page were reviewed and determined to be accomodating for parents with a liberal, progressive, or Unitarian mindset. The texts chosen are conducive for  Christian Education, Bible Studies, and the advancement of the spiritual growth and development of youth in grades PreK-12th.

Teaching Tips

  1. When selecting Christian-based teaching materials, choose resources that have an array of activities to choose from and allow plenty of room to be creative. This would  give just enough leverage to incorporate or single out lessons that are compatible with Unitarian teachings.
  2. Freely modify any nonsuitable lessons to become more aligned with Unitarian Christian beliefs.
  3. Apply analyticyal skills when reading the Bible. Keeping Bible Studies honest and open to discussion and/or debate will give the youth early exposer to how Unitarians form their convictions.
